Okkodo High School: A Lesson in Liberal Lunacy

Okkodo High School in Dededo, Guam, has become a hotbed of liberal lunacy, and it's time we talk about it. This educational institution, which should be a place of learning and growth, has instead become a breeding ground for leftist ideologies. The school, which opened its doors in 2008, has been pushing a progressive agenda that is more about indoctrination than education. Why is this happening? Because the liberal elite have infiltrated our schools, turning them into echo chambers for their radical beliefs.

First off, let's talk about the curriculum. Okkodo High School, like many others, has embraced the Common Core standards, which are nothing more than a federal overreach into our education system. These standards are designed to create a one-size-fits-all approach to learning, stifling creativity and critical thinking. Biology is biology, and no amount of wishful thinking can change that.

And what about the extracurricular activities? Okkodo High School has a plethora of clubs and organizations that promote leftist ideologies. From environmental clubs that preach the gospel of climate change to social justice groups that focus on identity politics, these activities are more about pushing an agenda than fostering a well-rounded education. Students are being encouraged to become activists rather than scholars.

The teachers at Okkodo High School are not blameless either. Many of them are more interested in pushing their own political beliefs than actually teaching. They're using their positions of power to influence impressionable young minds, turning the classroom into a platform for their own personal agendas. This is not what education is supposed to be about.

The administration at Okkodo High School is complicit in all of this. Instead of standing up for traditional values and common sense, they're bowing down to the demands of the liberal elite. They're more concerned with being politically correct than actually providing a quality education. It's a sad state of affairs when the people in charge are more interested in virtue signaling than doing their jobs.

Parents, it's time to wake up. Okkodo High School is not the only school where this is happening. Our education system is under attack, and it's up to us to fight back. We need to demand that our schools focus on education, not indoctrination. We need to hold teachers and administrators accountable for their actions. And most importantly, we need to teach our children to think for themselves, rather than blindly following the crowd.
