Picture this: a group of self-proclaimed environmental warriors jet-setting across the globe in their private planes, sipping on imported bottled water, and lecturing the rest of us about reducing our carbon footprint. This is the reality of the climate change crusaders who gathered in New York City in September 2023 for yet another climate summit. These so-called leaders, who claim to be saving the planet, are the very ones contributing to the problem they preach against. The irony is almost too rich to handle.

Let's start with the obvious: the carbon footprint of these summits is astronomical. Private jets, luxury accommodations, and lavish dinners are the norm for these events. The hypocrisy is glaring. They tell us to drive less, fly less, and consume less, yet they do the exact opposite. It's a classic case of "do as I say, not as I do." If they truly believed in the urgency of the climate crisis, wouldn't they lead by example? Instead, they indulge in the very behaviors they condemn.
